Active 61yo male quadriplegic seeking a caregiver. Monday through Friday 5am till 11:30 am, or Saturday and Sunday from 5am till 12pm. IHSS (In Home Supportive Services) or WPCS certified OR must be willing to become IHSS certified, if not currently certified. IHSS certification could take up to 6-weeks. Duties include daily hygiene, bowel and bladder care, bed/wheelchair transfers, meal preparation, light housekeeping, driving, as needed and other assistance. Some prior experience preferred. We are seeking an individual for three weekly night shifts and one for a weekly Tuesday day shift. The primary responsibilities include inconstance care, must keep patient clean and dry and be able to assist with transferring the client from wheelchair to bed. The ideal candidates will be dependable, caring, attentive to client needs, physically capable of assisting with mobility support, and comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary care team to ensure the client’s comfort and safety. Candidate must also be comfortable with working with a pet dog in the home.
