We are a service business so please be customer service oriented. Must Be (very important.) Responsible and a team player. Able to work with little supervision. Honest & Trustworthy. Able to lift 50+ pounds without a problem. Must have a valid license and a social security number. Be comfortable driving a van or a small box truck. CDL NOT required. Although primarily based in Everett, please be willing to travel to any of our three locations if necessary. ***Positive attitudes only, please. *** If you satisfy all of the requirements and are interested, we need to meet you. The Maintenance Officer is a full-time contract position responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled maintenance, repair, and construction tasks to support the daily operations of the College’s facilities. Collaborate with outside contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs or large-scale projects. Support event setup and breakdown, including moving equipment, staging, and room configuration. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and College policies at all times. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical school training preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in general maintenance, with demonstrated skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repair. Knowledge of building codes, occupational safety regulations, and preventative maintenance practices. Ability to read technical instruction manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, operate power tools, and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions. Valid driver’s license required. Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Some evening or weekend work may be required for emergencies or special events (not typical).
