Bakery Team Member (Upper East Side)

French bakery located in Manhattan is looking for a confirmed salesperson with outstanding customer service. Serious inquiry only. Must have: -1+ year in Bakery customer service ( experience in a French Bakery is a big plus ) -Food handlers required Right candidate is: - Familiar with POS System - Must be a team player with EXCELLENT customer service - Comfortable with running 7 to 8 hours shifts standing -Must be able to learn the production line of French pastries and follow the rules of the company -Multitasking by serving pastries, making coffees, charging customers (barista experience is a big plus!) -Refill packaging, beverages when needed -Answer phone, take phone and in store orders by paying attention to details - Occasional moderate to heavy (25-50 lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required. -Update inventory sheet - Able to maintain the highest standards of food presentation and sanitation - Must be a fast learner and operational in a minimum time - French speaking a plus but not required We offer one week of paid vacation after one year of seniority.
