We are looking for careful forklift operators to move pallets and material around our facility. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job will involve driving around warehouses, storage racks, and other locations where personnel are present. You must be a responsible individual with outstanding experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be stored in the correct place (5-S) and available at the right place and time to achieve maximum efficiency. Key Responsibilities Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them at assigned locations Locate, transport, and load products on trailers for shipment. Communicate cross-functionally any shortages before trucks are permitted to leave without 100% of their goods Meet load and unload times of 1-hour for either. 45 minutes to load/unload and 15 minutes for paperwork. Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. Report immediately any damage done to materials, finished goods, or the building/property Transport raw materials to production workstations in a timely fashion ensuring no outages that could affect production. Inspect forklift and machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs Completes both inbound and outbound paperwork as well as records transfers to/from production Comply with company policies and legal guidelines Help to maintain a safe and orderly environment Requirements Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred Knowledge of RF Scanner Forklift certification is required Food Handler Certificate Basic math and recording abilities Computer literate Keen attention to detail Able to read and write in English Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well on a Team but be self-motivated and Independent Able to lift 50 to 100 lbs.
