Faulkner has won a combined 60+ Best Places to Work Awards. As a Lot Attendant, the majority of your day will consist of interacting with customers and moving vehicles around the lot. As new cars are delivered to the dealership, the Lot Attendant confirms the receipt and compares the serial numbers against the invoices. Your main role will be to park/retrieve vehicles for sales and service customers, organize vehicles around the lot and manage the customer parking area. You will also shuttle customers to different destinations and shuttle vehicles between different Faulkner facilities. It is important to make sure all vehicles are clean before delivering to the customer! Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping the customer entrances clean and any minor building/property maintenance. You will also manage the loaner fleet including: ensuring loaners are prepared and ready, clean/sanitize loaners, inspecting loaners, and loaner agreements. Physical stamina as you will be continuously moving around the lot and interacting with customers. Must be able to perform all job functions that require lifting and/or carrying single items up to 50 Ibs, as well as functions/activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting and reaching. KEY DUTIES(May include, but are not limited to): -General sales and customer service on the floor. -Educate customers about our products. -Help customers over the phone or in person and direct them to the proper channels if needed. -Restock shelves. -Maintain a clean environment in the shop. -Pick and pack pickup orders. -Create custom gift boxes. -Open and close the shop as needed.  -Count out the cash drawers at the beginning and end of the day and get change from the change drawer with accuracy. -Help store manager maintain control over cash by helping to investigate and correct discrepancies and by maintaining a balanced change box and cash drawers. -Communicate with the store manager after each shift about any customer issues, open orders or product issues. -Ability to work solo in the shop. -This entails being able to answer most customer questions and when in doubt, being able to take accurate notes for a manager to follow up at a later date.  -Process returns as needed.  -Retain a copy of the shop keys. Join our team of friendly, glass-loving artists! Stained Glass Garden is an art glass gallery, education center, and retail space celebrating 49 years in the Fourth Street district of Berkeley. We are a woman-owned business aimed at sharing the love of glass art in the Bay Area through supporting local artists' work, teaching, and selling supplies. The retail side of our multi-faceted shop includes glass cutting for residential homes and design firms, in addition to providing supplies and service to glass arts students and professionals alike.
