Release Recovery is excited to be growing our team in Westchester. The Transportation Associate plays a foundational role in the day-to-day operations of Release Recovery’s Transitional Living Program. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about recovery, mental health, and who enjoy being on the road. As a Transportation Associate, you will serve as a consistent presence in transporting our clients to our facilities throughout Westchester. This role requires professionalism, strong boundaries, and a commitment to upholding safety, structure, and community within the residence and on the road. Founded in 2017 by Zac Clark and Matthew Rinklin, Release Recovery is a leading provider of transitional living, outpatient treatment, and recovery support services for individuals experiencing substance use and mental health challenges. With programs throughout New York City and Westchester County, we are committed to offering compassionate, structured, and evidence-based care that empowers individuals and families to heal and thrive. Key Responsibilities Transportation Drive clients from residential facilities in Yorktown Heights to various facilities and appointments throughout Westchester. Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off for appointments Maintain safety at all times and abide by the rules of the road. Community Engagement & Client Interaction Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all residents while on the road. Serve as a role model, demonstrating professionalism, positive peer behavior, and healthy communication. Engage clients through conversation, while maintaining professional boundaries. Participate in group activities and contribute to a strong community culture. Flexibility & Team Support Remain adaptable to shifting priorities and step in to support colleagues during crises or staffing shortages. Attend and contribute to staff meetings and ongoing training opportunities. Uphold facility standards in cleanliness, order, and presentation. Requirements Active license to operate motor vehicles. Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Strong communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Your job will involve driving around warehouses, storage racks, and other locations where personnel are present. Key Responsibilities Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them at assigned locations Locate, transport, and load products on trailers for shipment. Communicate cross-functionally any shortages before trucks are permitted to leave without 100% of their goods Meet load and unload times of 1-hour for either. 45 minutes to load/unload and 15 minutes for paperwork. Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. Report immediately any damage done to materials, finished goods, or the building/property Transport raw materials to production workstations in a timely fashion ensuring no outages that could affect production. Inspect forklift and machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs Completes both inbound and outbound paperwork as well as records transfers to/from production Comply with company policies and legal guidelines Help to maintain a safe and orderly environment Requirements Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred Knowledge of RF Scanner Forklift certification is required Food Handler Certificate Basic math and recording abilities Computer literate Keen attention to detail Able to read and write in English Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well on a Team but be self-motivated and Independent Able to lift 50 to 100 lbs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for consultation on Pipe fitting issues with department employees. Cuts, threads, and bends pipe. Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plastic. Connects pipes, using threaded, soldered, and brazed . Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers. Installs and maintains hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Pressure check system and observes connected pressure gauge to test system for leaks. Welds pipe supports to structural steel members. Observes production machines in assigned area of manufacturing facility to detect machinery malfunctions.
