We are seeking an Assistant Aftercare Program to join our team and help oversee the daily operations of our aftercare program, ensuring a positive and fun environment for all students. Key Responsibilities: -Support the Aftercare Program Director in planning, organizing, and implementing activities that promote student growth, safety, and enjoyment. -Supervise and engage with students during aftercare hours. -Assist with managing staff daily assignments. -Help with creating and implementing engaging craft and art activities daily -Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in alignment with school policies. We’re seeking a compassionate, patient, and creative Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a bright autistic young man with a love for animation, music, and exploring the world in his own unique way. About the Role: You’ll work 1:1 with an autistic young man who: 🎮 Loves Five Nights at Freddy’s, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Spongebob. 🎨 Is enrolled in Game U, an online school for 2D animation and video game creation. 🕹️ Is developing his own video game and alternate universe storyline for an existing franchise. 🎵 Enjoys diving into the meaning of songs and discussing what the artist was trying to convey. 🕵️‍♂️ Has a curiosity about true crime and exploring the darker sides of history. This position is initially to fill in for a team member on medical leave. Hours are flexible and can be arranged around your schedule. Once the regular DSP returns, the role will transition to fewer hours—but there is potential for this to grow into a larger, long-term role (up to 30 hours per week in the future). This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to be a supportive mentor, creative collaborator, and safe companion for outings and learning experiences.
