Enthusiastic Education Specialist, highly motivated to work with students who have struggled with reading throughout their school career. You will have the opportunity to implement engaging literacy strategies and lessons for students who require targeted instruction in the areas of word recognition, multisyllabic word decoding, fluency, vocabulary development, comprehension, and structured writing. We are looking for someone who is interested in designing and implementing evidence-based literacy instruction and passionate about teaching and learning. You will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative work with our special education team for lesson planning, data collection and progress-monitoring in order to adjust your instruction to maximize the growth of each student in your class. We are looking for a teacher who will design learning opportunities that build upon student knowledge and skills and build excitement among the students to come to class and experience the joy of reading. We value teachers who center their students’ experiences with a culturally responsive approach and truly listen to what students are saying – who create a space for students to be challenged, and who praise their insights and curiosities along the way. We are looking for an experienced, collaborative case manager who is familiar with developing and monitoring IEPs, and invested in their role as case manager for a dynamic group of students with a wide range of strengths and areas of need in special education. Now Hiring: Assistant Aftercare Program Director Do you have a passion for supporting children and creating a safe, engaging environment after school? We are seeking an Assistant Aftercare Program to join our team and help oversee the daily operations of our aftercare program, ensuring a positive and fun environment for all students. Key Responsibilities: -Support the Aftercare Program Director in planning, organizing, and implementing activities that promote student growth, safety, and enjoyment. -Supervise and engage with students during aftercare hours. -Assist with managing staff daily assignments. -Help with creating and implementing engaging craft and art activities daily -Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in alignment with school policies. Qualifications: -High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred. -Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. -Strong organizational and leadership skills. -Ability to multitask and adapt to a dynamic environment. -CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Hours & Pay: Part-time, Monday–Friday, approximately 1:45-5:30 PM. Some minimum days starting at 12:00 PM Competitive pay based on experience.
