Kreyco (formerly known as LLN) is a nationwide organization that specializes in PK-12 world language education. We support language learners of all kinds by connecting schools nationwide to teachers for Spanish, French, Italian, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, American Sign Language (ASL), and more. Our schools and students are our driving force, and as we seek to meet their needs, we are searching for language teachers of all sorts.   Currently, we have an on-site Bilingual Math, elementary teaching opportunity available for the 2025-2026 school year. Compensation varies and depends on your teaching project, ranging from $400 to $1,400 weekly. Daytime teaching availability is required. Part-Time Garden Educator (bernal heights)

Garden Educator opening at Leonard R. Flynn Elementary School in the Mission/Bernal neighborhood. Flynn is a Spanish dual immersion and general education public school that serves a diverse community of students in TK through 5th grade. 10 hours/week, during recess and potentially after school times a few days a week. Candidates need experience with elementary age kids, with gardening, and with providing garden education. Spanish speaking a plus. Need to commit to a full school year (through the end of May 2026, with potential for extension. Position to start ASAP, ideally right around August 18 start of the school year. Please apply by July 31 if interested. Our school has also been working with a garden education consultant who has many years of experience. Over the past year, she provided trainings to a group of teachers interested in increasing engagement of their students in the garden. We anticipate an opportunity to continue to work with this consultant in some capacity. This is a great opportunity to learn on the job, developing programming with an experienced garden education consultant, and getting paid to attend trainings. Duties include: providing garden supervision and programming during recess periods; providing guidance/support to teachers who opt to hold periodic class lessons in the garden; providing garden maintenance; and participating in weekend community garden workdays (twice a year). The garden is established and has raised beds, fruit trees, seating areas, and shed with supplies. Total garden area is 1,800 SF. Note that our schoolyard is undergoing a nearly comprehensive renovation, including a first phase in Summer 2025 and a second phase, including renovation to the garden, in Summer 2026. The PTA has been working collaboratively with the School District, design team, principal, staff and teachers, garden educator, and garden education consultant to support the development and refinement of the design and the implementation of the renovation. Part of the role of the incoming Garden Educator will be to continue to support this transition. Hourly rate $25. This position is funded by the Flynn PTA.
