Perfect first car for someone with not much money and just wants a daily driver. Bring cash to negotiate and if it’s not too insulting I won’t say no. I have another car and I don’t really need this anymore. I have another project and have to move on. New CA plates and SMOG Tags in July so you are good for the next 11 months. Only clearly visible bad thing is that the driver side rear door and quarter panel have a few dings and damage bigger than a quarter size. Full Front Steering + Suspension and axle overhaul in the last year. Parts changed since I bought this car just over a year ago: 1. L+R Front lower control arms and ball joints These are the upgraded STI arms so if you ever need to replace a ball joint or the arm or bushing you need to put in the STI part number Difference is non turbo base models are stamped steel and have a thinner body for the pivot point. These are aluminum and lighter. The ball joint has more angle or something and is thicker so it can handle harder cornering and lateral and axial forces when rallying. 2. L+R New spindles 3. L+R Inner tie rods 4. L+R Outer tie rods 5. L+R brand new axle seals. 6. L+R Rear traction arms changed 7. Left Driver side upper control arm. 8. Alternator 9. Die-Hard Battery with 3 YR Warranty (2yrs still left) 10. A/C was fixed and blows ICE COLD 11. Sway bar Bushings 12. Shifter Bushings 13. Megan Racing Front Strut Tower Brace Bar 14. Tow Hitch Full Tune-up preventative maintenance 1. 4 spark plugs 2. Coil pack 3. Engine Air Filter 4. Cabin Air Filter 5. All 4 used good condition tires have been replaced through the first year of me owning it. 6. Intake system cleaning; IAC valve and throttle body service 7. EGR Valve cleaned and flushed. 8. Brake rotors and pads and system will be serviced as well before the sale. I have all the parts BNIB waiting to do it on a day off when I have time. The next owner will not have to do maintenance for at least a year or more. Small things maybe if you like to be perfect or tinker with the car yourself. I can’t think of anything else I’ve done. Sunroof THE BAD: Body scuffed and clear coat not perfect Salvage title Leaks a bit of oil or burns it. I have to top it up once in a while. I can’t pinpoint where and it doesn’t blow smoke. I don’t think it’s burning oil. I think it’s a slow leak in the front. If I fix it then price may go up. I will adjust the price for the right buyer to pay for the repair if you choose to buy.
