Physical Therapist – Skilled Nursing Location: New Rochelle, New York Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in rehabilitative care within skilled nursing settings, working closely with residents recovering from surgery, illness, or managing chronic conditions. Merritt College is a Community College located in the beautiful Oakland hills. The Bioscience department has been training students for fifteen years: our graduates work in Hospital histotech labs, Biotech companies, Personalized Medicine labs, and many other places. You don't need any sort of previous background in science to succeed in our courses, you just need curiosity and a strong interest in a meaningful career that pays a living wage (even for the Bay Area!). The best place to start is by taking Bioscience 101: Theory and Practice of Optical Microscopy. It is a fun, easy going class: you will learn about a variety of career options and gain a marketable skill as a microscopist.
