Position Overview: Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant/Surgical Coordinator to join a dynamic multi-specialty facility in the Bronx, NY. This role combines clinical support with surgical coordination, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Support: Assist providers with patient intake, vitals, and minor procedures. Prepare exam rooms and ensure sterilization of instruments. Surgical Coordination: Schedule surgeries, pre-op appointments, and follow-ups. Liaise between patients, surgeons, and insurance providers. Maintain accurate surgical records and consent forms. Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, referrals, and prior authorizations. Provide bilingual patient education on pre/post-operative care. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred. Licensure: None required, but certification (e.g., CMA, RMA) is a plus. Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (multi-specialty or surgical setting preferred). Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems, appointment scheduling, and clinical procedures (e.g., vitals, phlebotomy).
