Responsibilities Assist physicians in exams and minor surgical procedures Prepare patients for procedures, including taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments under physician supervision Perform diagnostic tests and collect specimens for laboratory testing Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred Prior experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed Benefits We are seeking full and part time candidates. You and her other caregivers will share best practices to create and maintain a cooperative work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES • Planning and preparing meals, processing food and feeding. • Showering, dressing, incontinence care and grooming. • Laundry and light housekeeping. • Transferring from bed to wheelchair or bath chair with a motorized lift. • Repositioning - you must be able to support her weight – less than 70 pounds. • Supporting her with spontaneous and planned activities to enjoy at home and in the community. • Driving (optional but a plus).
