We are seeking an experienced Google Street View Photographer who can help us capture and upload high-resolution 360° imagery for neighborhoods and city streets in Southern California. About the role: We are refreshing and expanding Street View coverage for selected cities. You will be responsible for operating 360° camera equipment mounted on a vehicle, capturing data, and uploading processed imagery to Google Street View at scale. Responsibilities: Operate high-end 360° cameras (e.g., Insta360 Pro/Titan, Mosaic, or similar) Mount and calibrate equipment on vehicles for optimal Street View capture Plan and drive assigned routes to ensure full coverage of targeted areas Manage and organize large datasets (imagery and metadata) Process and upload imagery to Google Street View per Google’s technical standards Requirements: Prior experience as a Google Street View Trusted Photographer or similar role Familiarity with Insta360 Pro/Titan or other Street View–ready cameras Knowledge of Google Street View publishing tools & workflows Ability to manage large-scale uploads (multi-terabyte data handling) Strong technical skills (hardware setup, software for stitching & processing) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Preferred: Experience with custom camera rigs or vehicle-mounted capture systems Understanding of data privacy & Google’s Street View quality guidelines Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience & project scope Potential for ongoing work for future cities and regions Location: Projects based in Southern California (must be able to travel within the region).
