Part Time Store Sales Associate in South Burlington, VT Starting pay rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Responsibilities include Counter Sales, Warehouse Duties, and Delivery This position is for Part-Time (25-30 hours per week) Day Shift scheduled within typical store hours: Monday – Friday: 7am – 5pm Saturday: 8am – 12pm Sunday: Closed This position requires heavy lifting, a valid driver’s license, and interacting with customers. As a Part Time Store Sales Associate, you will be the reason our retail and contractor customers come back into the store. You will assist customers with all paint related needs, including placing orders, product, and color questions, and recommending additional products to make their job easier. Primary Responsibilities Greet and assess the needs of wholesale and retail customers as they come into the store offering solutions. Mix, tint, and match paint to customer requests. Safely move, load, and unload products for stocking, delivery, and order processing. Ensure the store is always clean and stocked with paint and other store products. Process orders and payments requests received in-person, by phone, online, and/or email. Will use POS system to receive payments and cash out customers. May be trained to make local deliveries using company vehicles. Report to the Store Manager. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of current residence with no restrictions and an acceptable driving record. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly. Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus and a stable job history. Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.

Join our team of friendly, glass-loving artists! Stained Glass Garden is an art glass gallery, education center, and retail space celebrating 49 years in the Fourth Street district of Berkeley. We are a woman-owned business aimed at sharing the love of glass art in the Bay Area through supporting local artists' work, teaching, and selling supplies. The retail side of our multi-faceted shop includes glass cutting for residential homes and design firms, in addition to providing supplies and service to glass arts students and professionals alike.
