Entry level generator maintenance technician. We are looking for a mechanically inclined person to work in the field maintaining generators. Our service area includes southern Maine, most of New Hampshire and eastern Massachusetts, north and west of Boston. The successful candidate will be trained by our company and eventually will be certified by industry-leading generator companies. The individual will use a company vehicle to complete their daily maintenance and servicing appointments and to respond to after hour emergency calls. Normal business hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a half hour for lunch. The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics: • Mechanically inclined • A good nature about them • Well-groomed and presentable • Good customer skills • Gets along with co-workers • Is punctual with respect to work hours and customer time constraints • Is organized and tidy We will provide the vehicle, fuel, appropriate shirts, jackets hats, etc. We provide medical coverage, vacation time after one year of service, paid holidays. Starting Compensation: $22.50 per hour, until trained. Increases are dependent aptitude, attitude, diligence and completion of certifications. Requirements 2+ years experience with WordPress. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English). You have previous experience with Live Chat and/or helpdesk tools. Familiar with common web hosting stacks (cPanel, NGINX, Apache, MySQL, etc). Knowledge with linux command line (SSH) including WP-CLI. Extensive experience with troubleshooting WordPress. Experience with Page Builders and Caching Plugins. Experience with Cloudflare and advanced understanding of DNS. Experience in optimizing WordPress a huge plus. Experience in PHP to write custom plugins for WordPress a huge plus. Knowledge of Redis, CDN, WAF, and page caching will be a huge plus.
