A licensed general contractor in Santa Monica is hiring a Part-Time Construction / Project Assistant to work alongside a senior project manager (25+ years experience) on projects for aerospace clients, property managers, developers, and business owners. This is a hands-on, fast-paced environment where the right person will be trained directly toward a Project Manager role. We’re looking to invest long-term in someone who works hard, learns quickly, and has a great attitude. ABOUT THE ROLE ===2–3 days per week to start (in-person) ===Assist with project documents, estimates, and schedules ===Track materials, subs, and jobsite progress ===Organize digital files, photos, and permits ===Help with site coordination and inspections (local only) REQUIREMENTS ----U.S. citizen or green card holder (required) – we work with government & aerospace clients ----Fast learner with strong attention to detail ----Mus have reliable transportation. ----Able to handle a fast-moving, high-expectation environment ----Hard worker with great communication and problem-solving skills ----Reliable, organized, and tech-comfortable (Google Drive, Excel, PDFs, etc.) ----Construction admin or coordination experience preferred ----Comfortable around dogs - we have an office GSD who is sweet as can be, but she loves to play ball. PAY & TERMS $25/hr to start, with quick advancement potential based on initiative and performance - bonus and commission opportunity.
