The Gutter, a neighborhood bar and bowling alley in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is looking for an energetic and motivated part time Front Desk Bowling Host with superb customer service that can work well under pressure. We need a hands-on, great communicator who is friendly, welcoming, maintains a positive attitude, and can always smile to the guests. A great personality, character, and superb customer service, and accuracy is top priority. Prt time $16.50 /hr | 2-3 shifts /week Thu, Fri, & Sat evenings until 4am. Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Punctuality and dedication to scheduled shifts - Work well under pressure and keeping a positive attitude at all times - Assigning and programming lanes - Accurately performing cash register and credit transactions - Maintaining and distributing bowling shoes, keeping a clean and tidy workspace - Tracking, logging, and maintaining bowling data and inventory - Assisting guests with bowling alley questions and issues - Answering phones in a professional manner - Following directions and completing other general tasks assigned by management - Be a team player, and open to cover extra shifts - Demonstrate integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values - Must have a working smartphone with internet access.
