$725 / 1br - 125ft2 - Community Living at the Land Trust ! (Candler Park/Lake Claire)

We have a room available in our community home, for someone who likes privacy but also sharing, and likes living in an intown setting with lots of green space. Our diverse group of 15 residents shares 2 houses, including a large and a small kitchen, 2 1/2 bathrooms, several living/dining areas, porch, patios, gardens, next to a large and beautiful green space with a path up the hill to the Land Trust. Residents are of all ages. We have no age, sex, ethnic, etc issues, all are welcome. We have a few rules, dealing with keeping the house and grounds clean and inviting, and treating each other with respect. There are no required beliefs, diet, etc. Rent includes all utilities, wifi, our living room big screen tv. We also provide some basic foods and condiments, dairy, fresh fruit and vegetables (some from our garden), and fair trade coffee. All kitchen/bath paper products and garbage bags are provided. Each resident has a small area in fridge and some pantry shelf space for private food stashes. Rent also includes a paid maintenance man to do all the cleaning in the common spaces (bathrooms and kitchen cleaned every day), trash duties, and also the basic yard work. No required chores for Residents other than cleaning up after yourself. Amata Intentional Community Absolutely no hard drugs, tobacco smoking outside only. We sometimes have parties and group meals, but have no regular schedule for these; it depends on who wants to make something happen. We are serious about keeping the commons decently clean and tidy, all Residents must clean up after themselves and not leave stuff lying around. Our location is convenient to the Candler Park businesses, also next to the Lake Claire Community Land Trust, and 1/2 mile from the Candler Park Marta station. On-street parking.
