Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our Distribution team. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities, ensuring timely delivery of product. The shift will cover 10:30 am to 6:30 pm with occasional overtime as the season demands. Duties Manage incoming and outgoing calls while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and dispatch drivers effectively. Perform data entry tasks related to shipments, including tracking and updating delivery statuses. Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, address concerns, and ensure adherence to schedules. Use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to optimize routes for efficiency. Monitor logistics operations to identify potential issues and implement solutions proactively. Requirements Proven experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred but not mandatory. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills. Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail is required. Familiarity with transportation management software is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills. Job Description- We are hiring Class A drivers for mostly OTR type of position where you will be on the road for a minimum of 2-3 weeks(Basically 2 cycles) but can stay out more if willing. You will run out and go mostly on the west coast, midwest and southeast wherever the market pays and then head towards. ALL dry van loads and no touch.
