ShareBurlington business looking for an organized and motivated warehouse assistant to join our team. Warehouse Assistant Duties and Responsibilities: Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouse. Handle expensive materials with utmost care. Process inventory for deliveries/pickups. Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location. Package items and label correctly. Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors. Handle and operate a forklift (training/certification provided). Remove inventory from trucks for shipping and/or delivery. Move materials from storage to pick-up area or other locations. Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards. Ensure warehouse spaces are clean at all times. Assist in cleaning/maintenance of retail shop. Work as an active team member to complete team goals. Assist as general labor on jobsites. Deliver materials to job sites/retrieve materials. Assist in organizing and maintaining up to date records of inventory. Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials. Warehouse Assistant Requirements and Qualifications: Highly organized and able to store items efficiently. High attention to detail and ability to monitor quality/quantity of inventory. Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift. Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more. Excellent communication skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work independently. Please note: This job is only for someone who is naturally neat and organized.
