Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities: -Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, damages to rental units, etc. -Install necessary appliances in the units and equipment as needed.Maintain property cleanliness with tasks such as gardening, yard upkeep, trimming, edging, mowing lawns, raking collecting trash, etc. -Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc. -Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, replacing faucets, installing trim, vanities, toilets, cabinets eat -Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems and report back to manager -Basic knowledge of the facility’s safety systems -Report maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress Worker must have access to own transportation and vehicle to travel to and from different properties. (miles reimbursed accordingly). Worker must be responsible and honest with work off site. (Manager will be following up with off-site duties. Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position is preferred. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems preferred. It is required that worker has experience with tools, including power tools. We are looking for a worker with passion for this kind of work, and one with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Full time position, Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm.
