Job Summary: Under the direction of the Assignments Supervisor, the Flagperson protects personnel and equipment while working on or near the tracks. The Flagperson uses various types of equipment, such as flags, whistles, discs, lights and two-way radios to ensure the safe passage of trains. The Flagperson duties primarily consist of three assignments, Switch Tender, Watchperson and Flagperson. The Switch Tender manipulates switches and signals train operators when proper switch alignment is provided. The Watchperson is charged with monitoring approaching trains and alerting work crews to clear the track of men and equipment. We provide installation and repair services to numerous customers using products such as GPS systems, cameras, and other 12V devices. As a family-owned business with over 30 years of experience, our customers rely on the punctuality and quality of our services. We have openings available for field technicians in Southern California. The job involves installing these products in both light and heavy vehicles. Previous experience in vehicle electronic systems installation (GPS, cameras, etc.) is required. Own vehicle and tools are necessary. This position is available for individuals seeking part-time work, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time. Work schedule is 5 to 7 days per week. Local travel availability is required, as installations may be at various locations. Mileage driven will be reimbursed. Wage: $25 - $35 per hour (during training period: $20 per hour) Requirements: Previous experience in 12V system installation (tracking systems, cameras, stereos, alarms, etc.). This person would be responsible for packing up the orders taken on our online stores and shipping to either the residential or School address. It entails pulling the individual orders from the order forms, neatly folding and boxing / bagging orders to ship out. Attention to detail and neatness is a must. You would be on your feet and moving around most of the time. Work area is clean and quiet to work in. The hours could fluctuate day to day, week to week. During busy times you could have a full 8 hour day. During our slow time you could maybe work a couple of hours a day or even a day or 2 off during the week. You would also make up boxes and keep the Web packing area prepped and ready to go. Great Job for someone looking to make some money but not having to be 40 hours a week. Knowledge of loading embroidery design into machine, Hoop items to be embroidered- correctly and straight, Load and unload the embroidery machine, Thread the machine, re-thread needle breaks, Re-load bobbins. Capable of reading work orders for color sequence and identify thread colors: Trimming, Steaming, packing of orders (not always, but may be required some days). You will be standing on your feet all day. You must have reliable transportation to work. Attention to detail is very important.
