Overview: We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize consumer networking products such as routers, access points, and switches. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring features from concept to completion, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and safety. You will be involved in every stage of the development process, from chipset bring-up and SDK integration to new feature development. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product management to conduct technical research and feasibility assessments that guide product design decisions. Design and develop embedded networking products, leading chipset bring-up, SDK integration, and application development across multiple hardware platforms. Partner with hardware teams to implement hardware-dependent functions and resolve integration challenges. Develop new features for real-time embedded systems using C/C++, optimizing firmware for performance, memory efficiency, and power usage to meet stringent system requirements. Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, software architecture, and other necessary documents to support future development, maintainability, and effective collaboration. Conduct code reviews, providing feedback to uphold coding standards and best practices across the team. Perform unit, integration, and system testing, collaborating with QA to define testing strategies and address issues identified during testing. Manage firmware releases, including maintaining detailed documentation, user manuals, and change logs for each update. Ensure product readiness for production by developing manufacturing tools, facilitating certifications, and providing on-site support as required. Investigate and address customer-reported issues, implementing firmware updates to enhance performance and resolve issues. Mentor junior engineers in coding, debugging, and software design best practices. Conduct industry analysis to stay informed of trends and maintain a competitive edge in product offerings. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience developing embedded software. Strong skills in software design, programming (C/C++), scripting, and debugging. Familiarity with embedded operating systems (e.g., RTOS, Linux) and real-time system design. Knowledge of network protocols and standards (e.g., DHCP, IPv4, IPv6). Experience working with microcontrollers, processors, and hardware interfaces like UART, SPI, I2C, and GPIO. Proficiency with debugging tools like GDB, Wireshark, and terminal applications. Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including version control, unit testing, and continuous integration. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing networking products such as access points, routers, or switches. Experience with ARM Cortex-A53/73 or similar platforms. Experience with Wi-Fi chipset bring-up and integration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We are looking for 2 CAREGIVERS for a 23-year old man with disability, severe cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and exhibiting extremely difficult behaviors and aggression on a sporadic basis. Client is high risk. Both caregivers will be required to assist with transfer and transport to prevent falls and safety hazards. Services are needed on a 24/7 basis in his home and in the community for all activities. Client lives in a lovely family neighborhood, but needs significant supervision, behavior management and support for all tasks throughout the week. CLIENT SPECIAL NEEDS: Client is severely disabled, mostly nonverbal, requiring professional assistance in all of the following areas on a 24/7 basis:  Assistance and supervision to stay safe and away from harm at all times;  Takes medication to modulate behaviors both during the morning, noon and night shifts;  Assistance needed at all times to change heavily soiled clothing, toileting, bathing, eating, and performing basic grooming tasks such as brushing teeth, shaving, dressing, and oiling/massaging skin to prevent skin breakage, and bed/wheelchair repositioning every 2-3 hours;  Client participates in walks, physical exercise, excursion to malls, concerts, grocery store, outings such as swimming, skating, bowling, movies, restaurants, sporting events, park and planning activities (Sports and Learning Complex), active church member, volunteering in the community to feed/cloth the homeless and engages in games and electronics; JOB SUMMARY AND DUTIES:  Client requires professional assistance in staying safe when he becomes sporadically agitated, and may lash out with hitting, kicking, head banging or grabbing, in order to self-calm;  Caregivers assist client in practicing self-care tasks such as teeth brushing, hair combing, and staying on task to practice skills throughout the day.  Caregivers must be able to accompany client to the park, involving walking up to 2 miles per day at the park and to / from the playground where Client visits regularly;  Caregivers must be able to help client remain clean, dry and safe throughout the day during many activities, frequent hand and face washing, clothes changing assistance when needed, prepare meals and clean up and keeping client from handling dangerous items in the kitchen (stove, knives, etc.) or breaking things he encounters. CAREGIVER MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & ABILITIES AND DOCUMENTED TRAINING & EXPERIENCE IN PROVIDING:  First Aid Certification  CMT Certification  Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification;  Possess a clean driving record;  Be able to pass a background investigation;  Possess not less than 7 years full-time experience with working with adults with developmental disabilities that exhibit extreme or difficult behaviors  Possess not less than 7 years full-time experience working with disabled adults in their home setting and in the community in which they live;  Have a strong physical strength, in order to manage the physical needs of the client, who is a full-grown man, 5’3” tall and 130 pounds, and comply with the behavior plan in terms of managing behaviors;  Must have car.
