





POSITION DESCRIPTION Bluebird Hill Vineyard and Cellars – Monroe, Oregon Job Title: VINEYARD AND WINERY ASSISTANT – PART TIME Bluebird Hill Cellars is a family-owned vineyard and winery producing boutique levels of award-winning wines from the southwestern Willamette Valley. The business was named ‘Winery to Watch’ for 2024 by Great Northwest Wine Magazine and has received regional and national acclaim for their wines. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform vineyard, grounds, and winery operations assistance under direction of owners and managerial personnel at the vineyard and winery. Vineyard and winery chores are variable; a good candidate will be knowledgeable in wine and/or vineyard management. Candidate will be expected to work some occasional hours as a server in the winery tasting room, at wine festivals, and/or at wine tasting events in the area. Also, assist with loading and unloading of winery inventory and equipment in association with attendance at occasional wine festivals. OLCC servers permit will be required and can be obtained after hiring if not already holding a valid permit. Some work chores may possibly include winery work including wine sample collection, barrel maintenance, and assistance with wine blending and bottling. Vineyard work includes a wide variety of seasonal chores; grounds work may include property management, mowing, tree pruning, and other seasonal chores. The position is currently set at part-time; eventually this position may transition to a full-time position.
