Barrett Electric is an electrical contracting firm located in Concord, NH. We are hiring an office manager to provide office support using Quick Books Pro, Excel, Word and Outlook. Tasks include but are not limited to: AR/AP Generate reports for management File Davis Bacon federal wage reports with DOL Manage 3rd party payroll reporting to the payroll company Work with purchasing to issue and manage purchase orders General office duties A good candidate will be able to work in close knit team setting, be reliable and steady with good bookkeeping skills. QuickBooks skills are required. We provide a full or part time position, vacation time, sick time, holidays, health, dental and vision insurance401K with automatic minimum match. Role Overview We are seeking a licensed Enrolled Agent (EA) to primarily assist during tax season, with some off-season hours available as well. Client Base Clients are primarily individuals, many of whom are self-employed and/or have rental real estate investments. The firm also prepares a smaller number of entity returns, including Fiduciary, S-Corp, LLC, LP, and Exempt Organizations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review individual tax returns with accuracy and compliance. Assist with small business and entity returns as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license strongly preferred, but will consider candidates who have passed part I of the Special Enrollment Exam, or are actively studying for it.
