YOU must have YEARS of heavy truck driving experience, we DO NOT train you to drive a truck. Time and a half after 40hrs per week.... $32 - $34/hr to start, show expert skill over time for pay raises. >>LOCAL delivery - home at night. >>RETIREMENT - Matching 401K >>PAID TIME OFF >>HEALTH, Vision and Dental Hours all year, Conveyor training is on the job at $32 - $34/hr. - We are a small, friendly company where your help can really make a difference! - Rock Slingers (we call them Conveyor Trucks) make deliveries of rock, sand, soil and bark products using a high speed, remote controlled conveyor system. - We throw material through the air into hard-to-reach places with the conveyor system. - This job requires EXCELLENT truck driving skills! - You must have experience with heavy trucks. - You must be able to float gears on a 10spd, 13spd, or 18spd transmission. - This is for hard working people who enjoy a busy schedule. Please meet the following requirements: 1. Knowledge of Portland and the surrounding area. 2. EXPERT truck driving skills and experience shifting a 10-speed or higher transmission. (automatic transmissions do not count) 3. CDL A or B. 4. Clean DOT Drug Test. 5. Willingness to follow many specific and detailed instructions. 6. Willingness to drive across town many times a day, to addresses all over the area, in all traffic conditions. 7. Always on time for work, clean and dressed appropriately. 8. We work a few weekends every year. You must be willing to work a few weekend shifts each year. 9.
