The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of HVAC/refrigeration, cooking equipment, and general facilities systems across multiple restaurant locations. This role supervises Facility Maintenance Technicians and ensures the execution of preventative maintenance programs, cost-effective repairs, and vendor coordination, while maintaining safety, compliance, and service standards. Administrative & Reporting Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, service calls, invoices, and expenditures. Process and approve invoices in accordance with company guidelines. Assist in store openings, remodels, closings, and equipment disposal or transfers. Vehicle & Tool Management Maintain company-issued vehicle in clean, organized, and road-ready condition. Use and maintain personal tools; specialty tools purchased with approval remain company property. Company vehicle safely and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Valid Drivers License HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical, Universal Licenses Knowledge of gas operated equipment, electrical systems, and refrigeration Preferred; background in restaurant equipment, management of other technicians HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical repair knowledge Kitchen and HVAC Equipment repair knowledge Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices; able to assess when equipment or parts are repairable and when new parts are required Has the knowledge to do the repairs and maintenance on most equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, construction, and HVAC systems. This role involves working on various construction sites, where you will be responsible for insuring plumbing systems are installed or repaired correctly. The successful candidate will be comfortable using hand tools and power tools, reading blueprints, and supervising the team as needed. Responsibilities Ensure plumbing systems are installed and repaired in residential and commercial buildings. Aid in the assembly of installing pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints to understand plumbing layouts and specifications. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and HVAC technicians. Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites. Requirements License and Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites. A Valid plumbing license is required.
