Key Responsibilities Station Responsibilities: Each Line Cook is in charge of a particular area or station in the kitchen. ey are responsible for preparing and cooking dishes specific to their station. Food Preparation: Line Cooks are responsible for all aspects of food preparation for their station, including ingredient selection, cutting, chopping, marinating, seasoning, and cooking. ey must ensure that all dishes leaving their station meet the restaurant's quality and presentation standards. Coordination: Each Line Cook ensures that all dishes are prepared and served in a timely and coordinated manner. Training and Supervision: Line Cooks may be responsible for training and supervising junior cooks and apprentices working on their station. ey must ensure that their team members follow proper techniques and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards. Menu Development: Line Cooks may contribute to the development of new dishes and menu items for their section.
