Hi! My name is Stevie and I'm looking for a roommate to take the 2nd bedroom in a 2bd 1.75ba in Bushwick! It's a railroad-style apartment with bedrooms on opposite ends, so no shared walls. Your room has an attached .75 bath (toilet and tub/shower combo but no sink, quirky old apartment things), built-in storage shelves, and a deep closet. It also has access to an outdoor area that is only shared with our other 1st-floor neighbors, who rarely use it so it's basically your private space! The room fits a queen bed. Living/Kitchen space is cozy, but does the trick. The ceilings in the apartment are super high, so it feels a lot bigger than it is. You'd be signing on for a year lease and would need to be approved through the landlord. They are fine with guarantors if you need one! The apartment is about a 8 minute walk to the Jefferson L and a few blocks from Maria Hernandez park. There is a laundromat directly across the street that does wash and fold. Cute bars, grocery stores and coffee shops nearby! The bedroom will be unfurinished. About me: I'm a 32-year-old, libra, INFP, queer woman who in general is very chill. Apartment is 420 friendly, and I also have a cat named Winnie who will want to be your best friend. I work full time in the West Village at a perfumerie and would love a roomie who also worked out of the house but am open! Would love to live with someone who doesn't want to throw big parties and is fine having a peaceful home environment and is clean but not militant in common areas (I do not mind overnight guests or small friend hangouts, just don't want to come home to a rager) ***The total rent is $3050 for the unit.
