Job Summary: The General Manager is responsible for leading all operations of a full-service diner, ensuring high-quality food, exceptional guest service, and effective team management. This role involves overseeing both front and back-of-house operations, managing budgets, developing staff, and maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and profitable business. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the diner, including kitchen, dining room, and staff management. Hire, train, and supervise front and back-of-house employees to maintain service and food quality standards. Monitor guest satisfaction and handle any service issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Manage labor, food, and operational costs in line with budget goals. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and labor laws. Maintain vendor relationships and manage ordering and inventory to ensure quality and cost control. Schedule and coordinate staff to meet labor needs based on volume and service goals. Uphold diner cleanliness, atmosphere, and brand presentation at all times. Develop and implement marketing or promotional strategies to drive traffic and sales. Create and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment. Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or diner management required. Proven leadership and team development skills. Strong understanding of both front and back-of-house operations. Solid grasp of financial management including P&L, inventory control, and labor scheduling. Excellent communication and customer service skills. ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credentials required or must be obtained. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Position Offers Pay: $21.50 per hour The position is a Full-Time, Permanent Position with Comprehensive Benefits 8 paid holidays every calendar year Plant annual bonus program Work schedule: Days, rotational - 7:00am - 7:00pm Job Responsibilities Safety: maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeeping. Inspection activities that include using a PI table, micrometer and ovality gauges. Efficiency in performing the inspection and quality process including skin testing and impact testing. Detection and assisting in the resolutions pertaining to the quality of the product. Investigating any product deemed non-conforming. Adjust the extrusion process including but not limited to, wall thickness, barrel and die temperatures, and diameter adjustments. Maintain maintenance on the line, including but not limited to, the cleaning of vents. Collaborate and assist with production material trials and new products. Monitor and maintain output and run conditions to specified standards. Complete accurate documentation and quality requirements. Other duties as delegated. Requirements Minimum 18 years of age plus completion of high school education or equivalent. Must have the ability to use basic hand tools and operate a forklift. Successful candidate must complete a background check and drug screening. Working conditions Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting to 50-75 lbs. Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required.
