Warehouse Assistant Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: · Inbound product handling o It’s our Goal to have Zero Injury and Zero Lost & Damaged Product from this position o All products received is verified against the packing list for accuracy and completeness. o All products are racked immediately with accurate locations noted on packing lists o All products are inspected for damage/shortages and handled within the Freight Claim process o All products are to be handled in a safe manner, including the proper palletization or other safe storage techniques for our racked locations o Outgoing product handling o All products are accurately pulled from location and staged according o All products are inspected for damage and completeness o Assisting with the loading of product when needed o Customer-owned stored product handling o All products are stored to preserve its condition when received o All products are accurately identified in its location on the Warehouse Aisle charts located in Excel o When applicable, an accurate customer inventory is maintained and available to the customer on demand o Specific customer storage requirements are maintained o Warehouse/Facility maintenance o All floor areas, including all aisles, are to be free of product by the end of each day o All trash and other debris are to be swept and disposed of by the end of each day (Dock area, Arises, Outside Lot area, Etc.) o Warehouse office furniture and floor is to be clean by the end of each day o General building maintenance (i.e. replace light bulbs, snow removal; sidewalks, salt when needed) o Breakdown skids for disposal in Dumpster o Stored/returned product o Proper safeguarding of returned products to ensure that we can locate for eventual disposition o Products to be rearranged and/or relocated to make the most efficient use of our warehouse facility o Safety o Ensure safe use of all material handling equipment o Comply with all company policies and procedures o Follow all safety procedures o Immediately report any accident or injury to your supervisor o Use required PPE o Training o Required to participate in assigned training activities. Responsible for successfully completing all on-the job training programs and cross training activities (Forklift Operation, Proper Lifting Techniques, Etc.) o Education & Qualifications: o High school diploma or equivalent o Prior experience in furniture handling preferred o Prior warehouse experience preferred o Certification on owned material handling equipment o Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds o Ability to develop high level of product knowledge for accurate identification of inbound and outbound product o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Visible attitude of willingness to work with our customers, our employees and our vendors and freight carriers o Ability to react to situations which require immediate attention o Computer aptitude, with willingness to learn Join our team today and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service through efficient warehouse operations! POSITION: Weekend Merchandiser – High Volume Accounts (Saturdays and or Sundays) JOB SUMMARY: As a Weekend Merchandiser, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our craft coffee products are properly stocked, rotated, and displayed at retail locations on Saturday or Sunday mornings in high volume accounts. This part-time position is critical to increasing store throughput and supporting peak weekend traffic at our top tier accounts. This could be done on either a Saturday or Sunday and you are not required to be able to do both days to be considered eligible for the position.
