ShareJob Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical office environment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient service skills, and proficiency EHR, Insurance Portals, Eligibility checking, scheduling. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar to optimize patient flow. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health information management standards. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member. Manage correspondence and communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments and medical information. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area to enhance the patient experience. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and support the overall operations of the clinic. Experience Previous experience as a medical receptionist/front desk is REQUIRED. Strong Communication skills is a MUST. Prefer BILINGUAL - Spanish / English. Familiarity with medical terminology, coding practices, and health information management is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent patient service. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
