At Skamania Lodge, you’ll play a key role in creating memories that last a lifetime, all while enjoying a workplace that values both hard work and fun. What you will do: -Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas (front line, bake shop, banquet prep, RRL), including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing burners, replacing foil, cleaning stainless steel, trash cans, ice wells, dish stations, mats, drains, and walls. -Maintain public areas by cleaning and restocking restrooms, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning glass surfaces, and using floor machines to buff and wax floors. -Assist guests as needed, report maintenance issues via HotSOS, and return lost and found items to housekeeping. -Support spa upkeep by mopping floors, power washing decks, cleaning lights, and maintaining saunas. -Conduct nightly security checks, ensuring all exterior doors are locked and performing routine patrols. -Distribute Green Choice vouchers to eligible stayover guests. -Assist housekeeping with guest room cleaning after hours when required. SCHEDULE Overnight, Full-Time or Part-Time available This is a 24-7, 365 day a year business that will require some work during weekends and holidays. QUALIFICATIONS: Housekeeping experience desirable but not required Time management skills Ability to work on feet for an extended period Ability to communicate effectively Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters.
