




GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The General Laborer is responsible for Laborer and general duties and responsibilities which will include, but not be limited to, working on residential and commercial job sites located in Berks, Montgomery and 7 surrounding counties providing emergency mitigation services, site demo, repairs, remodeling, etc. This position requires the highest level of work ethic with honesty and integrity, a positive attitude and a team spirit. Successful General Laborers will be hardworking, self-motivated, safety-conscientious, and punctual. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Emergency Water, Fire & Smoke Damage Mitigation, Site Demo and Clean-up • Attends safety trainings, company, and customer meetings. • Maintains clean, organized job site, company vehicle and warehouse. • Follows established safety rules and regulations. • Demolition/Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools. • Content Manipulation/Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned. • Cleaning of structures, contents, and cleans up worksite debris. • Shop, equipment and vehicle cleaning and maintenance • Assists in the installation of walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials. • Assists with installing window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter’s level, plumb bob, and laser levels. • Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws. • Assist with Building or repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools. • Assists with assembling and fastening materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue. NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Any additional miscellaneous job duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Excellent communication skills with all contacts • Professionalism and adherence to company policy • Standards of high-quality workmanship • Attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills • Problem-solving and multi-tasking skills PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • Certifications in emergency services, such as water, fire, smoke, or mold is a plus, but not required. • Experience working in the mitigation and construction industry is a plus PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: • The ability to lift 50 to 100 pound objects, at times more, to a height of 3 to 5 feet. • Working in all weather conditions year-round, both indoors and outdoors Valid/Active Pennsylvania Driver's License is required for this position.
