SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a results-oriented senior leader to interface with customers primarily in Huntsville, Alabama. This leader will support SciTec’s portfolios to deliver cross-cutting warfighter solutions and bridge communication between the technical team and the customer, defining and clarifying requirements. Key initiatives include: Missile Defense, Multi Domain Operations integrating C2, remote sensing, and mission processing Space Domain Awareness missions and applications Advancing Integrated Air & Missile Defense capabilities to meet new challenges Supporting the development of the next generation of space sensing systems Applying AI/ML techniques to speed transformation of information to action. The senior leader will work day-to-day with other members of the Executive team and Portfolio Leads and Technical Team to support a current or future mission need. The ideal candidate will understand the missile defense mission, have strong communication skills, understand business development and program management, and be technical fluent in space sensing, and space domain awareness. The successful candidate will interface with customers on requirements, support high-functioning technical teams, and work with SciTec corporate leadership to establish and execute to business targets and goals to sustain and grow current programs. Responsibilities Work with SciTec’s leadership team and portfolio leads to identify and mature strategic opportunities consistent with SciTec’s long-term interests. Lead assigned program capture activities from concept development through to successful program standup and operations. Interface with the customer and technical team to define, clarify, and prioritize requirements and LOEs. Advise and direct portfolio leads, subject matter experts, teammates, and Business Operations staff to achieve successful business outcomes.    Cultivate relationships with strategic customers and teammates. Play an active role in SciTec’s presence at symposia, conferences, and community exchanges. Identify strategic program risks and develop plans to mitigate, neutralize, or otherwise handle risk to ensure strategic program success. Mentor staff to grow frontline leaders and technical performers. Other duties as assigned. Requirements A Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science. Advanced degree a plus. 10+ years’ US Government or industry experience in remote sensing programs. Experience working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) a plus. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills Demonstrated systems engineering experience Excellent ability to work within a team, fostering teamwork and trust with both external and internal customers Excellent ability to develop and maintain customer relationships based on professionalism, responsiveness and ethical conduct. Excellent ability to readily manage rapidly shifting work priorities and multiple task assignments The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. Current TS/SCI DoD security clearance a plus. Junior Software Developer & Engineer/Analyst
Under the direction of senior systems and software engineers, the Engineer / Analyst will perform software development and integration of models into the distributed execution environment of IAMD M&S capabilities to include IDETS, IAMDSIM, and/or ETESIM. In addition to integration support, this position may include making updates and improvements to existing models of the various sensors, shooters, and BMC3 elements. Requirements Education and Experience:  A four-year, Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited college in Computer Science (preferred), Engineering, Physics, or Math is required. The candidate must have a working knowledge of computers, software, and personal productivity tools such as Microsoft Office tool suite.  The candidate should have knowledge of and exposure to programming in Object-Oriented languages (preferably C, C++, Java), preferably in a Linux based environment. Experience and exposure to analysis tools and methods (e.g. Python, SQL scripting, Excel) will be beneficial.      Primary Duties: Apply modern software engineering methods to the development and maintenance of various elements of IDETS, ETESIM, and IAMDSIM environments, component models, and/or supporting software tools. Support setup and execution of specific tests using the various IAMD M&S simulations to include IDETS, IAMDSIM, and ETESIM. Apply and develop automated analysis tools (e.g. Python scripts, Excel, scripting languages) to process the logged results of test runs to compute various metrics describing the performance of the different elements and/or systems being modeled. Prepare reports/presentations, conduct briefings of analysis results, methodology and methods.  Work with and under the general direction of other members of the lab’s software development and analysis teams.  Coordinate planned tasks in accordance with the task leader’s guidance.  Report accomplishments, status, and plans weekly. Limited travel might be required.   Work Schedule and Location: Work will primarily be performed at the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering & Integration (S3I) Directorate, Bldg 5400, Redstone Arsenal during the normal M-F work week between the hours of 0800 and 1700.  Some flexibility in work schedule can be accommodated; some limited after-hours and weekend work might be required. LOCATION AREA: Uptown Denver (Near Benedict Fountain Park) SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm | Availability for on-call emergencies SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of General Manager, the Building Engineer will be responsible for delivering and maintaining all facilities of a residential high-rise building. The primary expectation for this role is to maintain and preserve the life of all common area equipment, both interior and exterior, while ensuring compliance with all City, County, State, OSHA, and governmental regulations. ROLE: · Manage the engineering and maintenance of a residential facility, including common areas, amenity spaces, and parking garage. · Conduct quarterly cost analyses for maintenance items, including filters, belts, valves, and parts. · Perform efficiency analysis and energy savings audits quarterly. · Create, execute, and maintain an automated preventative maintenance program for all building components. · Implement and maintain all required maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as directed by GM and VP of Risk Management. · Coordinate, maintain, and keep current all inspections for building components. · Supervise the maintenance team, contractors, and any other departments as assigned by the GM, ensuring excellence in job performance through training. · Build and maintain strong relationships with outside vendors. · Coordinate contracted services and repairs in conjunction with the GM. · Maintain complete and accurate records of all maintenance requests submitted, commented on, and completed. · Available for on-call emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. · Ensure all safety precautions and procedures are followed while performing assigned duties. · Competent in addressing water-based/plumbing emergencies (Note: This role does not perform non-emergency plumbing repairs). · Willing and able to perform minor work including painting, cosmetic repairs, light fixture installations, damper actuators, etc. · Exhibit good communication skills with the team, management, and association owners to support the community.
