Position Overview: The Project Manager will manage a variety of projects and manage the project team in the Water and Wastewater Treatment market.  Projects may vary between private and public owners, as well as a variety of delivery methods such as lump sum, negotiated and design build work.  Assigned Responsibilities: Represent and demonstrate the values of F.H. Paschen: tenacity, versatility, ingenuity, and pride. Responsible for the management of the entire project, including scheduling, cost management, invoicing, purchasing, quality and safety. Create and maintain a healthy team with the project team, owner, and the rest of the FH Paschen organization. Ability to participate in preconstruction services, including estimating and value engineering. Supervisory responsibility of Project Engineer(s), Assistant Project Manager(s), and Construction Intern assigned to contract(s) and/or work orders. Collaborate with other Project Manager(s) to find alternative solutions. Collaborate, monitor and manage Superintendent(s) performance on contracts and/or work orders. Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners. Point of contact for project management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, engineers and more Understand all details of project scope of work. Create and maintain project cost reports. Responsible for monthly project invoicing. Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners. Develop and ensure implementation of the field quality assurance and quality control plan with Superintendent. Develop and enforce the project safety plan with Superintendent(s) Responsible for managing MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements. Responsible for EEO/Affirmative action contract requirements Other duties as assigned. Requirements BS in Construction Management or Engineering and 6-10 years of construction experience. Knowledge of and experience managing projects over $10 million dollars in the Water and Wastewater Treatment Industry. Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously. Experience managing self-performed work is preferred but not required. Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management. Computer skills, knowledge of Project Management, Scheduling, good communication and organizational skills are necessary. Prefer experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and/or P6, Procore and HCSS. Experience with a general contractor is required.  F.H. Desktop Support Technician level I/II (temporary) needed for approximately 4 – 8 weeks. The work is to begin on or around September 29, 2025, and would include visiting various sites for our client, in and around the greater Sacramento, CA area. Mileage will be reimbursed at the federal rate. We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician on a temporary basis (for approximately 4 – 8 weeks) to complete Windows 11 upgrades and perform reimaging on laptops and desktops. This would include setting up users and some end user training as needed as well as possibly replacing hard drives. The hours would primarily be Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00 but might require afterhours work but would be rare if any. The candidates selected must have pervious Desktop Support experience in a business environment including: upgrading desktops and laptops to Windows 11, reimaging and end user training. This is an onsite position, and the person selected MUST have reliable personal transportation, be punctual and dependable with excellent professional customer service skills. They must also have a clean state and federal background check. This temporary position (for approximately 4 - 8 weeks) would begin on or about September 29, 2025. Fun! Fun! Fun! At the Farm What could be more fun than being a tour guide for school kids at an old-fashioned pumpkin farm? Do you remember how fun the pumpkin farm was when you were a child? Well, here is your opportunity to experience the fun once again, while sharing the joy with children. Part-time and fulltime positions are available starting September 24th - October 31st. You will be guiding groups of school children throughout different aspects of the farm. We prefer those with paid experience working with and teaching children. We will teach you everything you need to know. But you must be comfortable speaking to large groups of children and grown-ups alike. The farm is owned and operated by a Sacramento area elementary school teacher. Weekday positions require you to work mornings starting no earlier than 8:45 am and end no later than 1:00 pm. There will be opportunity for some employees to stay and work in the retail locations until 6:00 pm after teaching the children. You must be able to work from mid-September through October 31st, Monday through Friday. The position will end on November 1. The ideal candidate is loud, outgoing and not afraid to laugh. We emphasize humor and fun while guiding your groups. You will be working outdoors and must enjoy all that comes with a farm. You will not have to interact with animals unless desired. This is an ideal situation for college students hoping to teach or work with children in the future, retirees, stay at home moms, or anyone that loves helping kids and the outdoors.
