Our work is grounded in quality, integrity, and personal service. Position overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable carpenter in the Cheyenne area, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in woodworking, construction, and the use of power and hand tools. This role involves building, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials, while ensuring quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. As a Carpenter, you will collaborate with project managers, contractors, superintendents, and other team members to complete projects on time and to specification. A strong work ethic, precision, and commitment to safety are essential for success in this position. Key responsibilities: -Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans. -Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials. -Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, and fixtures. -Repair or refurbish existing woodwork and structures. -Ensure all work meets quality standards and building codes. -Follow workplace safety protocols at all times. Qualifications: -Carpentry experience (residential, commercial, or both) -Ability to read technical documents and blueprints -Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. -Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials. -High attention to detail and craftmanship. -Trade school certification or apprenticeship (preferred but not required). Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Schedules and assists with daily operations (service orders, repaints/re-carpets, apartment turnovers, etc.) 2. Coordinate service contracts and oversee any vendor and contractor activities. 3. Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors and supervisors. 4. Inspect vacated apartments and complete ‘make-ready’ checklist and inform manager of needed services and repairs. 5. Required to be available and often on-site in the event of a weather or property emergency. 6. Conducting property inspections and/or participating on an inspection team. 7. Complete preventative maintenance activities.
