Will be responsible for: • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and creating code • Monitoring the feed and speed of machine during the machining process • Detecting and diagnosing machine malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs • Conducting and recording maintenance on the machine(s) • Performing all tasks in a safe and responsible manner The shop is ever changing and responsibilities will change as the company grows. The fleet includes Ford crew trucks, dump trucks, Peterbilt trucks, lowboy trailers, Komatsu excavators, Takeuchi excavators, and Volvo wheel loaders. Requirements: YOU MUST BE RELIABLE, DETAIL ORIENTED, PUNCTUAL, AND A TEAM PLAYER. Knowledge and experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, heavy equipment, and fabrication Clean driving record Must have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshoot, and be able to think outside the box. Ability to work under limited supervision, self-starter, be able to prioritize repairs, and complete in a timely manner. The desired employee will take pride in and ownership of their work, ensuring the shop is clean and organized as if it were their own.
