Construction Superintendent Jobs available to fill immediately (san jose west)

Company looking to hire Construction Superintendents. This position is available to fill immediately. The superintendent will provide job site coordination and supervision in all phases of construction projects, including coordinating with subcontractors, materials, and equipment. Ensuring that specifications are being followed per construction drawings, and work is proceeding on schedule. Qualifications/Responsibilities: - Daily on-site supervision of construction sites as well as any tasks related to the job site as needed. - The superintendent will be responsible for scheduling inspections, overseeing quality control, and job site safety. - Gather project submittals and maintain records of approvals at the job site. - The superintendent is responsible for supervising all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors daily at the job site. - Oversee construction trade workers and subcontractors. - Ensure work is being completed safely and efficiently. - Communicate and report effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other support staff. - Create daily reports regarding all construction activities at the job site. - Ability to work well with minimal supervision - Reliable transportation to and from project job sites. - Proficient in written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience: - Some experience supervising construction projects is preferred but not required.
