Responsibilities: - Lead and execute a variety of residential remodeling projects from start to finish, specializing in areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Perform skilled tasks including: - Carpentry (rough and finish) - Some Drywall installation and repair - Some Painting (interior and exterior) - Flooring installation (tile, wood, etc.) - Cabinet and countertop installation - Minor plumbing and electrical (replacing fixtures, etc.) - Demolition and site preparation - Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and deliver tailored remodeling solutions. - Coordinate with other team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. - Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times. Qualifications: - Minimum of 10-12 years of demonstrable experience in residential remodeling. - Proficiency in a wide range of remodeling skills, including carpentry, drywall, painting, and tiling. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. - Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members. - Reliable transportation and your own basic tools; including table saw and chop saw. - A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality craftsmanship. This position is responsible for installing, adjusting, and repairing commercial doors, frames, and hardware across various project sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial carpentry, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: - Install commercial metal and wood doors, frames, and related hardware according to plans and specifications. - Measure, cut, fit, and align doors and frames for proper installation and operation. - Install and adjust hardware including hinges, locks, closers, panic bars, and electronic access devices. - Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and hardware schedules. Inspect completed installations to ensure compliance with quality standards and building codes. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all Foxx Construction safety procedures and OSHA regulations. - Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, and other trades on-site.
