The ideal candidate will be skilled in installing and maintaining low-voltage cabling and systems with a strong background in security and access control technologies. Qualifications of a Low-Voltage Technician: Install, program, and service IP security cameras, audio/video door entry, access control, and cabling systems Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of low-voltage cabling and related systems Ensure installations meet industry and safety standards Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time Requirements: MN PLT (Power Limited Technician) License required Minimum 4 years of experience installing, programming, and servicing IP security cameras, audio/video door entry, access control, and cabling systems Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and cabling standards Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting the upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
