Seasonal Equipment Operator - $18.50/hr

The current base salary for this position is $18.50/hr. In addition, we offer the following incentives: $300 Certification Bonus when training is completed Paid holidays beginning on day one Up to 40% discount on all of our brands Safe, temperature-controlled work environment $200 Referral Bonus Equipment Operators lift and stack merchandise onto/off conveyor lines, semi-trailers, pallets, or other storage containers and racks within the Distribution Center. Operate a variety of powered industrial equipment including forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and order selectors Operate power equipment at least 80% of working hours Consistently lift cartons and merchandise onto/off conveyor lines, pallets, and storage containers Maintain and verify documentation to facilitate merchandise flow Must possess the ability to: Comprehend and follow written, verbal, and computer-delivered directions Utilize math skills to verify quantities and complete paperwork Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), scanners, and other equipment Apply attention to detail and problem-solving skills Identify products and match numbers Operate powered equipment such as forklifts and order selectors Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be at least 18 years of age Previous distribution center experience is helpful Flexible with job assignments, including departments, brands, locations, and overtime Meet productivity standards after training Team player with good interpersonal skills Comply with all safety, OSHA, and hazardous materials guidelines Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours/day) Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, at or above shoulder level Push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, and stoop regularly Use hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity Work at high levels when needed Successfully complete power equipment training Valid Driver License with fewer than 6 points Reports to DC Supervisor; no direct reports An equal opportunity employer.
