Bowery Meat Company Steak House is looking for experienced BOH candidates. We seek a Line Cook/Grill Cook to join our team! Bowery Meat Company, part of the Mercer Street Hospitality group, is committed to excellence. Ideal candidates will have: • A minimum of one year of experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. • Experience in all meal periods. • A passion for food and a strong work ethic • Possess DOH certification - Plus. • Team player that respects the facility, its equipment, and fellow staff members • Must be able to work at night and weekend • Fully Covid Vaccinated • Compensation is based on experience Duties: • Work the line for service • Keep a clean and organized workstation • Make sure the station is appropriately stocked for the shift • Maintain all necessary parts • Follow prep sheets, fire sheets, and station sheets • Prep and execution of food items. • Abide by and uphold company policies, standards, and state sanitation/health regulations. • Ensure and maintain safe and secure working conditions/environment, and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen facilities and equipment.
