Responsibilities for Baker include: • Be able to lift 50lbs • Precisely measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and direction from chefs. • Work efficiently and quickly on tasks • Be willing to learn new skills and adapt to our bakery's way of working • Use knowledge from previous bakery and kitchen experience to: work with precision on tasks such as food prep with knife skills; storing and managing ingredients; maintaining a clean workspace, use teamwork to complete tasks • Have interest in learning new skills and take direction from chef, and senior team members. • Be on time for scheduled shifts Schedules We are willing to work with the right people to build schedules that work for all, however we are very interested in hiring a bakers for early shifts from 12am - 7am, daytime shifts. District San Jose is looking for an energetic and committed host to join our team! We are a fast-paced restaurant and bar located in the heart of San Pedro, and we need a host to work on Friday and Saturday nights with weeknights needed during event season. An ideal candidate is proficient in Resy (or a comparable reservation application) and will need to answer phones, greet and seat guests, assist servers with waters and bussing, while keeping organized at the front station.
