Position Title: Video Technician Technician Ministry Area: Worship & Creative Arts Position Type: Part-Time Schedule: Sunday Weekly Worship Services, Rehearsals, and Special Events Position Summary: The Video Technician is responsible for ensuring high-quality video for all worship services and special events, including both live performances and streaming the same online. This includes setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and wrapping up the church’s video systems to enhance worship and support the communication of the Gospel. Key Responsibilities • Operate the church’s video equipment during worship services, rehearsals, and special events. • Ensure video systems are functioning and ready prior to each service. • Coordinate and coach church volunteers to operate ProPresenter slides, videos, and cameras for both the live service and simultaneous online streaming (the same video feed). • Troubleshoot and resolve video issues quickly and effectively. • Coordinate with the audio team in the event of a Zoom speaker (special events only). • Collaborate with the worship and media teams to support the overall worship experience. • Maintain video equipment and alert leadership when repairs or replacements are needed. Assist in training and developing new volunteers for the audio and video team. Required Qualifications • 1+ years of experience with video production. • Ability to remain calm under pressure while troubleshooting technical issues live. • Good communication skills and a collaborative team spirit. • Attention to detail and a desire for excellence in worship. • Willingness to learn and receive feedback. • Punctuality, dependability, and preparedness. • Maintain a servant-hearted attitude and respect confidentiality. • Work well with pastors, musicians, and other tech team members. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with church services and live event broadcasting. • Familiarity with video switchers (e.g., BlackMagic), routing and formatting. • Experience with PTZ Camera operation. • Familiarity with ProPresenter, Planning Center Online, and other church service-related systems and applications. • Familiarity with audio production, to assist the audio engineer if necessary. Time Commitment • Sunday mornings 8:15 am – 11:30 am. • Occasional special services or events, usually on Saturdays or holidays (e.g., holidays, conferences, funerals, training) If interested and qualified, please send us a cover letter and your resume.

Work with presenters to develop the “show flow.” Drive time-sensitive deliverables with clients for session materials. • Manage technical setup: Match the client to the format that best meets their event goals and create the virtual meeting environment. • Moderate the event: Welcome presenters and provide them with technical guidance and set event expectations prior to the live broadcast.
