Construction Inc A SF Bay area construction company looking for a motivated and skilled framing and all round carpenters for high end remodeling projects that are mainly based in San Francisco with over 5 years’ experience. This is a year round, long term job opportunity. Please see below for details Requirements - Must have own tools - Fluent in English [Spanish is a plus] - Have reliable transportation - Must have experience with work involving foundations and framing - Assist in estimating completion times and needed labor/ materials - Strong work ethic. - Problem solver - Keep records of your time and materials used for each job - Punctual, self-starter, capable of working with a team or working alone on individual tasks - Perform various tasks critical for seeing a project from demo to final punch list - Ability to follow directions and perform quality work - Well-developed organization and communication skills - Dependable and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision - Ability to ensure General Contractor’s safety and quality standards are upheld - Good oral communication skills will be helpful Framing and General Construction - Rough framing foundation and framing. - Window and door waterproof installation. - Building envelope waterproofing experience preferred - Experience operating skill saw, chop saw, reciprocating saw, drills, nail guns Minimum qualifications - Residential Construction Experience – at least 5+ years of experience. [must provide accurate job references] - Must be able to read and interpret blueprints - Understand architectural and structural plans - Ability to think ahead by performing accurate takeoffs and securing materials when necessary in a timely and efficient manner Responsibilities - be safety minded and be aware of Cal-OSHA requirements and regulations - Reliable, focused and detail oriented - Ability to help with management of subcontractors.
