Senior Network Engineer – Long Beach Sierra Cybernetics is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with 7+ years experience to work for us supporting our Port of Long Beach client to lead and manage critical network projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Cisco switching, routing, and voice technologies, as well as hands-on experience with modern Unified Threat Management (UTM) systems and next-generation firewall/security appliances. This role is pivotal in designing, deploying, and optimizing network infrastructure to support robust and secure operations across the organization. The position is expected to be approximately 9+ months or longer assignment. Fully onsite at the Port offices and data center in downtown Long Beach. You will provide administrative, budgetary, and IT coordination support under limited supervision in a fast-paced public sector environment. About the role: We are refreshing and expanding Street View coverage for selected cities. You will be responsible for operating 360° camera equipment mounted on a vehicle, capturing data, and uploading processed imagery to Google Street View at scale.
