Description

I need ongoing assistance with a language learning broadcast. It is currently just basic handwriting drills. Hangeul over and over… and forgetting what the sounds are. I don’t speak Korean, but I need to teach myself with your assistance as I conduct the broadcast. You will not “teach”, me. I will ask questions and learn to understand and repeat your responses. You have to be fluent in Korean and be willing to speak pretty much only Korean the whole time. I really don’t want to hear English. We will do spoken language drills as well. It involves a lot of repetition. A lot. Neither of our faces will be on the broadcast, just our hands as we write or point to things, etc. They will hear our voices, but we will not be speaking English on the broadcast, only Korean. If there is English, it is hand-written or computer-generated. Pay is $100/day, plus gratuities. I aim to work together every Monday and Tuesday, all day, but we can work out something for our schedules. I have a small office, but I think sometimes we will walk/drive around the cities pointing and speaking Korean about what we see for B-roll. We might be on camera for things like that, but that’s just for the art of it. That won’t be shared online. I bought cameras and mics and never really get to use them for cool movie stuff, so…yea. This is really good for you if you’re interested in sound design/informative narration, and color grading, as things are supposed to be very aesthetically appealing and informative in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s pretty meditative, I would say. A good example of what it’s supposed to be like is if the move “Minori” was actually an on going series about learning to communicate in Korean….but, scored by Atticus Ross, Hans Zimmer, Phillip Glass, Sufjan Stevens, Joel Zimmer, and Justice. To apply, reply with a Vimeo(only Vimeo) video link to you reading this post in Korean. Do not use ANY English unless written or computer-generated(type, speech-to-text, google, etc). In the body of your reply, only include the vimeo link and nothing else, or the reply will be auto-deleted. If selected, we’ll meet-up and discuss details… …unfortunately, in English. Ha.
