Company Overview: A growing land development company is seeking an experienced Investor Relations Manager to support our expansion into additional projects. This key role offers significant opportunities for professional growth, with the potential to become an equity partner in future developments as the company continues to scale. Our development territory is the greater Houston area and offices are located near The Woodlands. Key Responsibilities: • Investor Relationship Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, private equity firms, venture capitalists, and institutional investors interested in real estate and land development projects. • Project Packaging & Presentation: Collaborate with the owner to structure compelling investment packages, financial models, pro forma projections, and detailed investment summaries. • Ongoing Communication & Investor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for existing investors, providing updates on project milestones, financial performance, and addressing any inquiries or concerns to ensure strong, long-term relationships. • Deal Structuring: Assist in structuring investment deals that align both investor goals and company objectives, including terms like preferred returns, equity splits, and exit strategies. • Marketing & Outreach: Actively market land development opportunities to a diverse pool of investors and financial institutions, increasing visibility and attracting capital. • Pitching Deals: Present land development opportunities and tailored investment deals to prospective investors, ensuring clear and compelling communication of value propositions. • New Development Opportunities: Network with area realtors and work to identify pocket listings for new potential property that will be ideal for our development strategies and future deals. Ideal Skills and Qualifications: • Expertise in Real Estate Development: Strong understanding of development processes, including timelines, risk management, and investor return expectations. (Training will be available to understand our process with land development) • Capital Raising Experience: Proven track record in raising capital for real estate projects, particularly land development or similar sectors. • Extensive Network: Established network in real estate and investment industries with the ability to build and maintain long-term investor relationships. • Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively pitch deals and negotiate terms, ensuring alignment with both investor and company interests. • Texas real estate license: Holding this license will allow direct representation of the company in land purchases, ensuring that transaction commissions can be credited and contribute to additional deal equity. (Preferred not required) Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related Field Required Experience: Experience in Investor Relations • 5 years of experience working in investor relations. The candidate should be comfortable managing relationships with investors, handling investor inquiries, and ensuring effective communication of financial performance and future opportunities. Experience in Real Estate Development • The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of various types of real estate projects. • Understanding the development process, including site acquisition, entitlement, financing, construction, and sales, will enable the IRM to clearly communicate the stages and status of a project to investors. Financial Acumen and Analysis Skills • Experience in financial modeling, projections, and analysis of real estate deals. Experience with Fundraising and Capital Markets • Strong background in fundraising, especially in raising capital for real estate projects. This includes experience working with private equity firms, venture capitalists, institutional investors, or family offices. Compensation: • Base Salary: $75,000/year • Commission Structure: o Up to 4% of funds raised annually o Equity in projects will be available for additional incentives • Total Compensation: $200,000–$300,000 annually Benefits: • Health insurance coverage (or comparable stipend) • PTO Join Our Growing Team – We Want to Hear from You! We are helping a client find a Program Coordinator to provide critical administrative and coordination support to maintain continuity in the University Research Partnerships (URP) team’s existing workflows. In this role, you will ensure day-to-day operations, documentation, communications, scheduling, and event planning are executed consistently and reliably while maintaining the high standards expected in a dynamic, high-visibility research program involving top North American universities. The ideal candidate is familiar with university research administration and academic business operations, including the ability to work effectively with faculty, sponsored programs offices, and decentralized administrative systems.
